Treats by day, haunts by night – Brevard Zoo is scaring up some new Halloween fun this fall! While the Zoo’s longstanding Boo at the Zoo event will continue offering family friendly trick-or-treating and Halloween activities during the day, it’ll be joined by a new experience: Beware the Night, a separately ticked evening event with spookier family friendly experiences.

The 2nd Annual Daytona Beach Wing Battle will take place at Tanger Outlets on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 6 to 10 PM. This all-inclusive event features unlimited wing samplings, unlimited domestic beer and hard seltzers, live music, and an exciting Game Area, making it one of the most anticipated 21+ events of the summer.

This July marks the United States of America’s 250th birthday since the Declaration of Independence in 1776. As a proud resident of Daytona, this July also marks the 150th birthday of the incorporation of the City of Daytona Beach.

For Mother’s Day this year, we skipped the usual brunch scramble and decided on something a little different: a family day trip to Winter Park by train. It also doubled as a birthday celebration for Scott. As our resident train nerd, he got the Amtrak ride. As the mom of honor, I got to do whatever my heart desired.
