The towers are in place and the date is set. White Castle®, home of The Original Slider® and America’s first fast-food hamburger chain, today announced that its Daytona Beach Castle will open on Tuesday, September 22, with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. and a full day of first-day Craver festivities to follow. In a city that has been welcoming visitors for more than a century, the countdown to the first Slider is officially on.

When Dutch Oven Bread Co. opened its doors last October, the goal was simple. To bake sourdough bread and buttery, laminated pastries worth waking up early for! Less than a year later, the community has answered back. This month, the bakery was named winner of the Communities' Choice Award for Volusia-Flagler.

Tucked away in a quiet forest in the Parktowne Industrial Park is a job training and community uplift facility cleverly disguised as a family tea company: Rise Yaupon.
