The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach invites audiences to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with two exciting special events filled with music, history, humor, and patriotic spirit, all for just $10 each!

Ben Franklin: An Ingenious Life

The celebration begins with Ben Franklin: An Ingenious Life, a theatrical gem not to be missed. Written and performed by Ray Flynt, this one-man play imagines Benjamin Franklin late in his remarkable life, welcoming visitors into his Philadelphia home. With warmth, wit, and insight, Franklin reflects on a life of invention, diplomacy, discovery, and revolution - the extraordinary journey of the man who “snatched lightning from the clouds and scepters from the hands of tyrants.”

Running a little over an hour, this intimate performance offers audiences a chance to spend time with one of America’s most fascinating founding figures in a way that is both entertaining and inspiring.

Celebrate Independence Day with The Mood Swings Band

The festivities continue on July 4 with a lively 4th of July Concert featuring The Mood Swings Band and singer performing favorite patriotic songs in front of dazzling video wall fireworks projections. Audiences are invited to sing along, celebrate together, and enjoy an uplifting musical tribute to America.
