New Smyrna Beach Board of REALTORS® Fair Housing Month 

That commitment is especially important in April, recognized as Fair Housing Month.

Fair housing is not just a law or a single moment of recognition. It is a principle that is woven into the daily work of REALTORS®. It guides how conversations are had, how opportunities are presented, and how clients are served. It is about ensuring that every individual has equal access to housing and is treated with fairness and respect throughout the process.

The work you see in these moments supports that standard. Whether it is continuing education, collaboration between professionals, or staying informed on issues that impact property owners, each effort helps ensure that our members are equipped to serve the community responsibly and ethically.

This April, that commitment was also being recognized at the local level. The cities of New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater, along with Oak Hill and the Volusia County Council, each issued Fair Housing proclamations. These recognitions reflect a shared dedication across our region to promoting equal opportunity in housing.
