Summer Heat Brings an Aggressive Snook Bite
Summer is in full swing and the heat is blazing both the ocean and the river! This doesn’t stop the fish though as the bite is just as hot! This time of the year the Snook really gets fired up and seems more aggressive.
After this past winter and the extreme cold weather the population seems to be thriving with much bigger Snook creeping into the backwaters.
These territorial species seem to like anything you throw at them! My preference is white Henn lures and my favorite is the Shrinnow!
As we dive deeper into the Summer season things will remain the same with an abundant amount of bait, lower tides and hot temperatures!
Look for the shadows on banks to pitch your choice of bait to and trust the process!
Until next time…. Cast Em…. Hook Em… and Catch Em!
