Spring Fishing Conditions Are Heating Up
Spring is nearing a close with warmer temperatures rising. The fish are plentiful and the bait is abundant.
Larger snook and reds are moving into the shallower waters and chasing down the bait pods.

On the lower tides these fish are much easier to hunt with a better chance of visibility. I recently broke off on the largest backwater snook I’ve ever hooked. Unfortunately, he got caught up on a branch and the jig was pulled from his mouth.
On a better note, Casey and Aiden Collins scored some lovely redfish on the fly action. These guys are experts when it comes to sight casting fish and throwing the fly!
In the coming month look for the bait in the shallower waters and make sure you have your polarized glasses to see these larger predators!
Cast Em… Hook Em… And Catch Em!
Best Days to Fish in May: 1-3, 7-9, 14-18, 22-24, 29-31
