The Bedazzle Era Is Back
Nothing is safe from gemstones right now. Clothes, nails, phone cases, makeup, birthday cakes. People are even bedazzling their cats. We have officially entered the bedazzle era again and I’m fully embracing it.

Kylie Jenner definitely gave the trend a push with her very pink, very jeweled birthday party. Even the cakes were covered in gems. But I’m not giving Kylie all the credit. Rhinestones and Y2K fashion have already been making their way back.
THE TREND: More is more. Colorful gems, rhinestones, crystals and anything that sparkles.
THE DIY: I found this denim set at Goodwill, bought a bunch of gemstones on Amazon and started gluing. That’s it.
TRY IT: Grab an old T-shirt, tank, denim skirt or pair of shorts you don’t wear anymore and bedazzle it. There really are no rules with this one.
THE THROWBACK: It’s very late 90s, early 2000s, when we were putting rhinestones on basically everything. Apparently we weren’t done.
I’m fully embracing the gemstone craze. At this point, you might as well call me Gem.
Actually, my middle name is Precious, so this all makes sense.
