Authors on the River: A Literary Luncheon Comes to The Grille at Riverview
Join us Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Authors on the River: A Literary Luncheon at The Grille at Riverview in New Smyrna Beach.
Pull right up to the front door — complimentary valet parking makes arrival easy, with no need to search for a spot. Once inside, settle in for an afternoon featuring local authors Shelley Lynch, Lee Davis Jr. and Sean Donovan, hosted and moderated by Tiffany Sudakis, editor of East Coast Current Magazine.
Guests will enjoy lunch while hearing directly from each featured author, followed by a moderated Q&A. Then we'll head downstairs to the Reef Bar for Meet the Authors, with book sales and signings, photos, conversation and cocktails available for purchase.
Tickets: $35 per person
Your ticket includes your choice of one lunch entrée and one nonalcoholic beverage, tax and gratuity. Additional cocktails will be available for purchase. Entrée selections will be made at the event and include:

Meet Our Featured Authors
Shelley Lynch
Shelley Lynch is a New Smyrna Beach wildlife photographer, storyteller, speaker and author whose work is deeply influenced by her encounters with dolphins, pelicans, sunrises and the natural world. Since 2017, she has spent nearly every sunrise in or near the water documenting coastal wildlife and sharing the stories behind those encounters. Shelley is the author of Pip's Fishy Adventure and recently released EXHALE, a visual meditation inspired by nature. Learn more about Shelley Lynch
Lee Davis Jr.
Lee Davis Jr. is a Florida-born writer and lifelong reader who calls New Smyrna Beach home. His fiction focuses on ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances, blending suspense and cinematic tension with emotional stakes, humor and character-driven storytelling. His debut novel, Oath of the Osprey, follows a University of Florida anthropology professor whose brother is murdered while investigating the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl, pulling him and an unlikely group of allies into a dangerous search. Sean Donovan
Sean Donovan is a published author, author coach, ghostwriter and publishing consultant based in Ormond Beach. An entrepreneur who has owned businesses across several industries, Sean combines his experience in writing, coaching and publishing to help aspiring authors take their ideas from concept to finished book. We'll head downstairs for book sales and signings, photos, conversation and cocktails.

Seating for our first Authors on the River is limited, so advance ticket purchase is recommended. Come spend an afternoon on the river, discover new books and hear the stories behind the people who wrote them.
