NSB Board of Realtors® Foundation, Inc. Presents $20,000 to 10 Southeast Volusia School Recipients

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - The New Smyrna Beach Board of REALTORS® Foundation welcomed local school principals to the Board office on Friday, August 28, for an informal School Check Presentation, providing $2,000 to each of 10 Southeast Volusia school recipients for a total community investment of $20,000.

The gathering gave school leaders an opportunity to share directly how local support reaches students. Principals described needs and programs supported by community contributions, including transportation and field trips, food and other basic student needs, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiatives, and other school-specific priorities.

While the Foundation itself is newly established, the Board's commitment to local schools and community organizations has a much longer history. Based on NSBBOR historical records, the 2026 school contribution brings documented direct giving to local schools and community organizations to more than $350,000 over the years.

The New Smyrna Beach Board of REALTORS® also recognized its 2026 Title Sponsors - Buddy Davenport State Farm, Integrity Air and Heat, and Mullinax Ford - along with REALTORS®, Business Partners, committee members, volunteers, and supporters who help sustain the organization's community work.

School recipients included Chisholm Elementary, Coronado Beach Elementary, Read-Pattillo Elementary, New Smyrna Beach Middle School, New Smyrna Beach High School, Edgewater Public Elementary, Indian River Elementary, Burns Science & Technology Charter School Primary, Burns Science & Technology Charter School Secondary, and Samsula Academy Charter School.
