Photo enthusiasts can help celebrate the founding of America and the state of Florida by entering the River of Lakes Heritage Corridor’s Young Adults Photography Exhibit & Contest, open from April 10 through June 1, 2026.

The River of Lakes Heritage Corridor invites young photographers, ages 12 to 17, to participate. Selected photographs will be exhibited at the Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Avenue in Deltona.

“We’re inviting emerging photographers to capture the beauty, culture, and history of the corridor through their own unique lens,” said Carlee McKinney, River of Lakes Administrator. “Photography categories include Flags on the Byway, Nature and Wildlife, Landmarks, Rivers and Lakes, Adventure and Recreation, and Hidden Gems.”
