The Little Theatre of NSB Presents the Comedic Thriller Deathtrap
The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach presents Deathtrap, Ira Levin’s classic comedic thriller packed with twists, tension, dark humor, and the kind of theatrical surprises that keep audiences guessing until the very end.

PERFORMANCE DATES & TIMES:
Evenings at 7:30 PM - August 27, 28, 29 & September 3, 4, 5
Matinees at 2:00 PM - August 30 & September 6
Sidney Bruhl has not written a hit play in 18 years when he receives a script from a former student that seems destined for success. Desperate for a comeback, Sidney jokes that perhaps he should simply murder the young playwright and claim the script as his own. But when the student arrives later that evening, the line between joke and possibility begins to blur in deliciously dangerous ways.
As dark events unfold, no one can predict where the night will lead, not even Helga Ten Dorp, the visiting psychic whose presence only adds to the suspense and uncertainty. With sharp wit, mounting tension, and unexpected turns at every corner, Deathtrap delivers the perfect mix of comedy and chills.
Opening on Broadway in 1978, Deathtrap ran for four years and still holds the record for the longest-running comedy-thriller on Broadway. The play was also nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Play, earning its place as one of theatre’s most entertaining and enduring thrillers.

Tickets are $22 for adults, $21 for seniors, and $11 for students.
Don’t miss this clever, suspenseful, and darkly funny night of theatre at The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach.
